Hyundo Auto Camping Site in Cheongju
Located approximately 25 kilometers from the Cheongju City Hall, the Hyundo Auto Camping Site (청주시 현도오토캠핑장) is a pristine campground nestled by the Geum River. This picturesque location is surrounded by mountains, creating a uniquely natural and eco-friendly atmosphere.
The journey to the camping site takes about 50 minutes by car via Sangdang-ro, Cheongnam-ro, and Yangji Shimok-ro. The site offers a spacious terrain with 40 vehicle camping spaces, 39 of which are covered in lush grass, while one is a deck. These sites measure approximately 5.6m by 5.7m, giving campers plenty of room to enjoy a private camping experience.
Campers can conveniently park next to their tent, and have access to electricity and wireless internet. There’s also a playground for children, and even large dogs are allowed. If you have a personal caravan or trailer, you are welcome to bring it along.
