With a total area of 384.11㎢, the city is home to approximately 31,361 residents (as of December 2020). Within its administrative divisions, there is 1 eup (town), 7 myeon (townships), and 151 administrative ri (96 legal ri). The Goryeong-gun office is located in Jisan-ri, Daegaya-eup, Goryeong-gun.
