Boryeong-si is a city located in the southwestern part of Chungcheongnam-do province in South Korea.

It is situated on the eastern border with Cheongyang-gun and Buyeo-gun, and faces the West Sea on the western side. It borders Seocheon-gun to the south and Hongseong-gun to the north. Boryeong-si covers an area of 569.31 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 104,754 people (as of 2015). The city consists of one town, ten townships, five administrative districts (ten legal districts), and 235 administrative villages (101 legal villages).
