The Royal Palace Auto Camping Site, locally known as 대궐오토캠핑장, is a cozy mountain auto camping and glamping site nestled in the heart of Baekseok-eup, Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province. A mere 15-minute drive from the Songchu IC on the Seoul Outer Ring Road towards Uijeongbu and Illyeong will bring you here.
Despite being deep within Goryeong Mountain, the well-maintained roads ensure a hassle-free journey. As you enter the camping site, you’ll be greeted by an artificial waterfall at the entrance and a stream located halfway up, making you feel at one with nature.
Accommodation Features
The auto camping site features 60 sites equipped with electricity and barbecue facilities. Thanks to the trees planted around most sites, it’s a great place to set up a hammock. The glamping sites are surrounded by forests on all sides, offering a panoramic view of the woods whether you’re looking out from your room window or the outdoor deck. The rooms are well-equipped with beds, tables, chairs, BBQ facilities, refrigerators, and cooking utensils.
Convenience stores, showers, and water supply points are easily accessible from any site. Additional facilities such as a playroom for children, a movie theater, and sports facilities for soccer and foot volleyball have also been set up.
