Chilpo Auto Campsite
Formerly a spacious golf course, the Chilpo Auto Campsite has undergone a fantastic transformation into a comfortable and well-maintained camping ground. Situated in the Buk-gu district of Pohang City in North Gyeongsang Province, it is approximately 19 kilometers away from the Pohang City Hall. The campsite can be reached by car via various routes: Heung-hope road, Youngilman road, Samheung road, and Chilpo road. The journey usually takes around 25 minutes.
What to Expect
The Chilpo Auto Campsite, thanks to its former life as a golf course, boasts a wide and well-kept grassy area perfect for pitching tents. The campsite has prepared 44 general camping sites, each measuring 7 meters in length and width. One of the key advantages of this campsite is the ample space between each site, allowing for a more private camping experience. The campsite is also accessible for personal trailers and caravans, although pets are not allowed. The campsite operates on weekends, with a two-month hiatus from January to February each year. Reservations can be made online in real time.
