Located in Daechi-myeon, Cheongyang-gun, Chilgap Mountain Natural Recreation Forest Campground is a serene retreat where you can fully enjoy the purity of Chilgap Mountain. Starting from Cheongyang-gun office, a 15-minute journey via Chilgap Mountain Road 7 and Chilgap Mountain Road will lead you to this oasis. The campground is situated within the renowned Chilgap Mountain Natural Recreation Forest, a hotspot for those seeking longevity and well-being.
Once you step into the campground, the delightful chirping of mountain birds and the refreshing air filled with phytoncides will stimulate your senses. The campground provides 20 auto camping sites made of gravel, each measuring 3.6m in width and 2.7m in length. The use of electricity and fire pits is allowed. The thick foliage surrounding the sites provides ample shade, making even the summer heat bearable. Personal trailers and caravans are allowed, with fees equivalent to the auto camping sites. The campground operates from spring to autumn, taking a break from December to January of the following year.
