Introduction

The Cheongok Campground, which translates to “Blue Jade Campground,” is nestled in the heart of the picturesque Goseon Valley in the Socheon district of Bonghwa County, North Gyeongsang Province. Approximately 30 kilometers from the Bonghwa County Office, it is easily accessible by car via Dadeok Road, Pine Topia, and Socheon Road, taking about 30 minutes. The campground’s proximity to the road and its location in the valley make it an ideal spot for cool water activities and camping.

Facilities and Amenities

  • The campground offers 15 sites made of bare soil, each measuring 6m by 6m and equipped with a hearth for open fire cooking.
  • Unfortunately, individual trailers and caravans are not permitted.
  • The campground operates only in the summer, and reservations can be made by phone.
  • While there is no onsite snack bar, a supermarket and convenience store are just a 3-minute drive away, making it easy to purchase necessary camping supplies.
  • Only small dogs are allowed to accompany campers.
