Cheonan National Leisure Campground
The Cheonan National Leisure Campground, located in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan city, is a pristine camping site nestled amidst the abundance of nature. The phrase ‘산자수명한데 깔끔하기까지 한 캠핑장’ can be translated to a neat camping site surrounded by mountains and trees.
This camping site is approximately 15km from Cheonan City Hall. It can be reached by driving along Dongseo Daero, Cheonan Daero, Wolyang-ro, and Deokjeon 1-gil, in that order. The journey takes about 30 minutes. The campground is located between Heukseongsan Mountain and Yongyeon Reservoir. Thanks to this, it is surrounded by mountains on all sides, offering a nature-friendly atmosphere. The breathtaking view of the reservoir attracts attention at the front of the campground.
Facilities and Reservation
The campground has 28 car camping sites and 10 regular camping sites. It’s available for day-use from 11 AM to 6 PM. Personal caravans and trailers are not allowed. You can make a reservation in real-time online via their website. The campground is open from spring to fall, and it is closed from January 1st to February 28th every year.
