Homingsan Pine Forest Camping Site
Meet a camping site nestled in the depths of the Homingsan Pine Forest, a healing haven especially designed for backpackers.
Location and Description
The Homingsan Pine Forest Camping Site is an eco-friendly spot located at the foot of Homingsan Mountain in Sangcheon-ri, Cheongpyeong-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. Despite its location halfway up the mountain, vehicular access is strictly controlled. Campers should be prepared for an approximately 15-minute walk from the parking lot, an inconvenience willingly borne to preserve the natural forest environment as much as possible. The goal is to create a camping culture that coexists with nature.
How to Get There
To get to the camping site, you first need to find Sangcheonru, located behind Sangcheon Station. Leave your car in the public parking lot of Sangcheonru, pass through the barricade, and follow the forest path uphill for about 15 minutes. You’ll find a deck site prepared in the dense pine forest. The decks are spread out with some distance in between, following a slight slope, making it an excellent spot for camping without any interference.
