Okgye Seaside Campground

Introducing the Okgye Seaside Campground, a place of beauty and tranquility nestled within a pine forest at Okgye beach, located along the scenic coastal road that connects the areas of Jeongdongjin and Simok in Gangneung.

Introduction

After journeying through the picturesque coastal road, you’ll find the Okgye Seaside Campground. It’s a place of exquisite beauty where the daisies bloom, and a low dune is formed on the spacious white sandy beach, spanning 2.5 km. Located under the minbak village of the beach, the campground is large enough to accommodate over 200 tents at once. However, it is a seasonal campground, operating for a fee from mid-July to the end of August, and is free for the rest of the year. During the off-season, only the water supply and restrooms are open. Therefore, you can simply use the space on a first-come-first-serve basis without any special reservation process.
