Introduction
Located in Agok-ri, Hwangryong-myeon, Jangseong-gun, just a 30-40 minute drive from Gwangju, O2 Story is a campsite utilizing a closed school. It boasts a large parking lot with separate areas for the pension and glamping sites. The pension is made of cypress and loess, while the glamping site offers ample space for relaxed tent pitching. A deposit of 10,000 KRW allows you to borrow a pot and other essential utensils, which you can return after use to reclaim your deposit. The campsite also features a convenience store, allowing campers to easily purchase most needed items.
The camping site, created from a closed school, has neatly maintained corridors and classrooms filled with bedding and appliances for the pension. Inside the building, in addition to the pension, there is a children’s playroom, a seminar room, and a book cafe, making it a popular choice for families with children. The outdoor space that was once a playground has been transformed into a vast grassy field, perfect for running around or enjoying a game of soccer. Moreover, the campsite’s proximity to Chukryeongsan Healing Forest, known for its clean air, makes it a great place for healing and relaxation.
