AJ Auto Camp
The AJ Auto Camp, or 에이제이오토카 in Korean, is a healing campground located near the city. It offers a refreshing retreat with a touch of Korean culture and nature.
Introduction
Situated at the highest point in Sudong-myeon, Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do, the AJ Auto Camp boasts the largest area with about 4000 square meters. It’s nestled against a valley famous as the Bigeumgyegok, an ideal spot for healing and relaxation. The camping area opens up to an amazing view, being located in a pristine area.
The camp features 45 auto camping spots with crushed stones and decks. It also offers trailer glamping and caravans. The campsite is equipped with amenities such as a trampoline, swimming pool, foot volleyball court, and a mini sports field for children. In summer, you can enjoy traditional Korean dishes like chicken soup, Dori Tang, and duck soup at the public restaurant, also a licensed business within the campsite. They have a separate space prepared for long-term camping.
Just five minutes away, you can experience Mongolian culture at the Mongol Cultural Village with Mongolian horse shows, folk art performances, exhibition halls, and history museums.
