A Stroll Through History
Inheung Village traces its roots back 500 years when the descendants of Mun Ik-jeom, who brought the Nampyeong Mun clan to prosperity, settled in Daegu. It was during the time of Mun Gyeong-ho, the 18th descendant, that the clan established their village in the old site of Inheungsa Temple, a grand temple from the Goryeo era.

This place serves as a venue for offering ancestral memorial services and holds great cultural significance. The village’s first residential building, constructed in the late 1800s, takes the form of a charming thatched cottage. Over the course of a century, Inheung Village has developed into a living testament to the architectural and cultural heritage of the region.
