The pension boasts two log cabins, lovingly crafted to offer a harmonious blend of natural aesthetics and modern comforts. Situated in such a way that each cabin faces south, you will be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the picturesque Jisepo Port and bask in the warmth of the glorious sunlight.
The owner’s dedication to creating an enchanting atmosphere is evident in the meticulously cultivated garden. Over the course of 17 years, the owner has nurtured a delightful array of flowers, trees, and wild blooms that adorn the landscape. As you explore the 6,611m² yard, you will encounter inviting tables, low wooden benches, and a traditional Korean lookout hut, all providing the perfect setting to relax and immerse yourself in the surrounding nature.
Sonanggoo Pension comprises two buildings named “Yanghandang” and “Hwasaengdang,” each offering a total of 10 guestrooms. These cozy retreats cater to varying group sizes, accommodating anywhere from two to eight people. Rest assured that all guestrooms are thoughtfully equipped with modern kitchens and bathrooms, allowing you to enjoy a comfortable stay with the convenience of home.
For those craving a culinary adventure, the yard offers a unique experience with its “Red Clay and Stone Plates.” Here, you can indulge in a traditional Korean barbecue, grilling delectable meats and vegetables on the 4cm-thick stone plates heated by firewood.
