Pear Blossom Campground
Located in the proximity of the Hwanghak Mountain Leisure Forest in Chilgok, the Pear Blossom Campground is a charming camping site that offers an ideal blend of Korean culture and nature.
Location and Surroundings
Situated in Jicheon-myeon, Chilgok-gun, Gyeongbuk, the Pear Blossom Campground is roughly 12Km away from the Chilgok County Office. A drive via Seokjeon-ro, Hoguk Peace Road, and Sohak-ro will lead you directly to the campground, typically taking around 20 minutes.
With its prime location near one of Chilgok’s main tourist attractions – the Hwanghak Mountain Leisure Forest, the campground offers excellent opportunities for linked tourism activities. Below the campground, a large grass lawn is perfect for corporate workshops, group events, or even for enjoying various outdoor activities.
Facilities
The campground is equipped with six general camping squares, four of which are made of grass measuring 5m by 5m, and two are deck designed measuring 6m by 4m each. There are two separate toilet and shower facilities for men and women, and one dishwashing station. The campground remains open throughout the year, including weekdays, weekends, and winter. Firewood is available for purchase at the management office.
