Evergreen Camping Site
Evergreen Camping Site, or 에버그린 캠핑장 in Korean, is an idyllic escape nestled in the mountains of Beol-gok, Nonsan City, in Chungcheongnam-do province. Located about 26 km from Nonsan City Hall, it’s a quick 40-minute jaunt by car along the Gyeryong-ro, Hwangryong-jae-ro, and Surak-ro routes. The campsite is encased by mountains on all sides, offering a truly immersive experience in nature.
The campsite is intersected by a clean stream, and its front is dominated by a creek, offering a perfect spot for water play to beat the summer heat. The campsite offers 24 general camping sites arranged in a terrace pattern. The bottom level has 12 crushed stone sites while the top level has 12 loam sites. Each site is about 7m x 8m, large enough to accommodate a large tent. Personal caravans are allowed, but personal trailers are not. Tents can be rented from the campsite’s management office, but pets are not allowed.
Evergreen Camping Site is located near Surak Valley and there are several restaurants operating nearby. This place is perfect for those who love the combination of camping and water play during the summer or simply enjoy walking trails.
