Pet Healing Moonlight Zoo Campground
The Pet Healing Moonlight Zoo Campground, located within a zoo designed for children’s animal experiences, is an ideal spot for families who love the outdoors and animals. It’s situated near the main town of South Yeongwol County. After passing Yeondang Elementary School and crossing the Pyeongchang River in front of the Nam-myeon office, you’ll find this charming zoo, christened Dabangigol Reservoir, tucked away within a small reservoir.
The campground is located on the left inside the horse riding area at the zoo’s entrance. As you pass through the pony zoo and deer zoo, you’ll find the campsite extensively laid out in front of the convenience facility building, which houses showers and restrooms. This building also hosts a mini zoo where you can observe and feed small animals like rabbits, adding a delightful touch to your camping experience, especially with kids.
