The Giant Leisure Campground, or ‘자이언트레저’, is a picturesque camping site nestled in the lap of Mother Nature in Hwegok-ri, Seorak-myeon, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, a stone’s throw away from Seoul. This lakefront camping site is a perfect getaway for those who want to enjoy water sports and fishing while basking in the beauty of the Bukhan River and the lush greenery around it.
The campsite comprises four camping grounds within the Lake Leisure Town, with eight glamping units (3m x 7m) and two caravan units (3m x 8m) available for campers to rent. With a prime location offering breathtaking views of the Bukhan River and opportunities to indulge in water sports, this campsite is the perfect sanctuary for those seeking a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Moreover, the glamping site is conveniently located under the shade of large ginkgo and pine trees.
The site’s management office doubles as a convenience store and shares various amenities like a restaurant for water sports enthusiasts. The campground is currently undergoing upgrades after the 2018 off-season, making it a camping site worth looking forward to in 2019.
