Overview
HuPark Auto Camping Ground is a caravan camping site located within the Hong Gildong Theme Park in Jangseong. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Gwangju. This camping site allows both caravans and tents, offering a free tent site if you rent a caravan and bring your own personal tent. The available caravans come in two types: one for four people and another for six. You can also set up an additional tent next to the caravan, accommodating up to eight people in total. Note that the four-person caravan is quite cozy, so if you prefer a spacious setting, it’s recommended to opt for the six-person caravan.
Unique Features
One of the highlights of the HuPark caravans is that each unit comes with a table, allowing individual use during BBQ parties. The caravans are also fully covered with bug screens, so there’s no need to worry about insects. The design of the caravans, reminiscent of the popular kids’ show ‘Tayo the Little Bus’, features expressive faces painted on the front and bright colors such as red, blue, yellow, and orange, adding to the kid-friendly vibe. Well-maintained walking paths and a large grass lawn are perfect for soccer games or exploring the interior of Hong Gildong Theme Park.
