Chisan Tourist Site Campground
The Chisan Tourist Site Campground, translating as “Nestled Caravan Campground by the Stream,” is a serene getaway located in Sinnyeong-myeon, Yeongcheon-si, Gyeongbuk. This hidden gem is approximately 35 minutes away from Yeongcheon City Hall, nestled within the famous Chisan Tourist Site known for its longevity water. Here, you can enjoy the fresh air and take a refreshing dip in the cool stream.
Accommodation and Amenities
The campground houses 23 caravans, suitable for 6 to 8 people. Among these, 14 caravans are situated right next to the stream. Each caravan is a studio-type room, partitioned into a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and toilet. Equipped with a heating and cooling system, refrigerator, microwave, electric range, and cooking utensils, it provides everything you need for everyday living. A private deck outside each caravan features a barbecue facility and picnic table under an awning for shade.
Attractions and Activities
Surrounding the campground are numerous tourist attractions, such as the Chisan Waterfall, Sudosan, the last sanctuary of Jeong Mong-ju, and the Bohyeonsan Observatory. Plenty of restaurants are also scattered near the Chisan Tourist Site. You can enjoy a range of activities across different seasons, including spring flower viewing, summer water games, autumn foliage viewing, winter snowscape admiration, and walking trails.
