Chungganjeong Condo Caravan Campground
The Chungganjeong Condo Caravan Campground, or in Korean – 청간정 콘도 카라반 캠핑장, is situated in Toseong-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do. A few steps from the campground and you’ll be greeted by a magnificent jade-colored sea.
Getting There
Easy access from the East Sea Highway, exit at the Sokcho IC and pass through Misiryeong-ro and Donghae-daero to reach the campground. As soon as you enter, you’ll see Chungganjeong Condo and beyond that lies the caravan campground. The 15 caravans are strategically placed to offer a panoramic view of the vast East Sea. A few steps more and you’ll reach the beach with its white sands.
Amenities
The campground boasts of heart-shaped sculptures near the beach that make for great photo opportunities. Each caravan comes with a private deck, barbecue facilities, parasols, tables, and chairs. The interiors are equipped with a bed, heating and cooling system, sink, refrigerator, TV, cooking utensils, dishes, a bathroom, and a shower.
Although there is a store that sells food and miscellaneous items, it is operated by the army and civilian access is limited. The management office provides rental services for grills and other barbecue essentials.
