Jukdo Auto Camping Site in Yangyang
Adjacent to the East Sea, the Jukdo Auto Camping Site is a caravan and auto camping site, tucked away in Hyeonnam-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do. Just about 10 minutes drive from the Hajo Dae IC on the East Sea Expressway, via Yangyang Airport towards Hajo Dae, you’ll find yourself in a paradisiacal blend of nature and comfort.
Facilities and Services
The camping site is strategically located next to one of Yangyang’s representative beaches, Jukdo Beach, offering campers the opportunity to enjoy camping against the backdrop of the beautiful East Sea. The site accommodates 17 caravans and 20 auto camping sites. The caravans are well-equipped with beds, heating and cooling systems, a refrigerator, TV, cooking utensils, dishes, a bathroom, shower room, and washing stand.
The auto camping sites are provided with electricity and a fireplace, and the sites adjacent to the sea are highly competitive. Although there is no separate grocery store, there are plenty of supermarkets around the camping site. Moreover, the management office sells camping essentials like firewood, charcoal, grills, and fireworks. During the summer, they also rent out surfboards and life jackets for water activities.
Pets weighing less than 5kg are allowed to stay for an additional fee of 15,000 won for caravans and 5,000 won for tents. Note that during peak season, pets are prohibited in caravans and only allowed in the tent village.
