Yu-chi Natural Recreation Forest
Introducing the Yu-chi Natural Recreation Forest, a camping ground where nature maintains its original form, enveloped by a pristine area surrounded by a forest of over 400 types of trees and a crystal-clear stream.
Opened in July 1996, this camping site, managed by the Jangheung County Office, has been offering a tranquil retreat for over 20 years. Alongside camping, it also operates a pension.

This place offers a great spot for family vacationers to relax and enjoy various events. If you enter the mountain path to the right of the resort, you’ll find multiple mountain paths where you can enjoy mountain biking.
Inside the resort, a clear stream runs across, inhabited by freshwater fish like trout. On the side of the mountain path, untouched wild vines and wildflowers grow in abundance, offering a chance to appreciate the natural wonders. In midsummer, you can see numerous fireflies. Located in the upstream area of Jangheung Dam, you can also admire the mysterious rock formations, including the Rainbow Waterfall, Ongnyeo Waterfall, and the legendary Byeon Gangsoe and Ongnyeo Rock.
