Location and Introduction
This campground is located near the Whale Fire Beach in Youngduk-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. You can reach the campground entrance by taking National Route 7 from Youngduk IC on the Dangjin-Youngduk Expressway, then heading towards Uljin and making a right turn at Whale Fire Beach. The Youngduk Whale Fire National Campground, nestled in a pine forest of about 175,000 square meters (approximately 53,000 pyeong) adjacent to the East Sea, consists of 110 general camping sites built with wooden decks, 13 auto camping sites, and 25 caravans.
Facilities and Benefits
- Next to the campground is a white sandy beach that stretches about 20 kilometers.
- In winter, only caravans are operated.
