Seongjubong Natural Recreation Forest
Nestled in the deep valleys of Euncheok-myeon, Sangju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Seongjubong Natural Recreation Forest is an idyllic camping site where you can immerse yourself in nature. The campsite, which is about a 40-minute drive from Sangju City Hall, is located amidst lush forests and valleys, offering an eco-friendly camping experience.
Getting There
To reach Seongjubong Natural Recreation Forest, you can take a vehicle and drive about 26km via Cheonbongseo-ro, Usan-ro, and Seongju-ro in sequence. The campsite is well-equipped with 81 camping sites made of decks, with sizes and numbers varying between 3.5m x 3.5m (46 sites) and 2.5m x 3m (35 sites). Unfortunately, the use of grills and electricity is not permitted, and personal trailers or caravans are not allowed.
Features and Benefits
One distinguishing feature of Seongjubong Natural Recreation Forest is that it operates only in the summer. Reservations are accepted online in real-time, and a separate parking fee of 3,000 won should be paid in addition to the camping fee. Please note, no matter the size, pets are not allowed.
