West Sea Land’s End Wave Village Archway Campground
The West Sea Land’s End Wave Village Archway Campground, or 서해땅끝파도리아치내캠핑장 in Korean, provides a unique beach camping experience that feels like you’re in a secret space. Located in Sowon-myeon, Taean-gun, Chungnam, the journey to this hidden gem takes approximately 40 minutes from the Taean County Office, passing through the West Sea, Mohang wave, and Archway road.
Secluded Beach Camping
The campground is nestled near the Padori beach, at the edge of the beach, giving campers a feeling of camping in a secret space. This is because the beach is inaccessible unless you’re a campground user. The campsite has prepared 80 auto-camping spots, consisting of 19 grass sites and 61 crushed stone sites. Campers can use electricity and a brazier, and small dogs are allowed to accompany. Both personal trailers and caravans are permitted.
Additional Features and Facilities
Although the shade from the trees is limited due to their small size, plans are underway to create an additional campsite in a bushy area for campers visiting in the summer. The campground also provides a pension. For the convenience of campers, the campground is situated close to Padori beach, Tonggae port, and Eundol port, making it easy for campers to tour around these areas. Thanks to the geographical characteristic of Taean, numerous seafood restaurants can be found nearby, no matter where you go.
