Mountain Village Ecological Park Campground, also known as 산디마을 생태공원 캠핑장 in Korean, is a charming campground nestled near the striking Gyeryongsan Mountain.
Introduction
The campground is located in Daejeon Metropolitan City, Daedeok District. It can be reached by a 30-minute journey from Daejeon City Hall, passing through the City Hall Station intersection and Sammu-ri intersection, and alternating between Sintanjin Road and Sandi Road. Thanks to its location near Gyeryongsan, a major tourist attraction in Daejeon, it is often referred to as the Gyeryongsan Campground in Jangdong among campers. The proximity of Gyeryongsan’s yellow soil trail makes it popular among those who enjoy combining hiking and camping. The campground boasts 17 general camping sites varying in size from 5.4m x 6.4m to 11m x 6.4m. The generous spacing between the sites allows for a private camping experience. Personal caravans and trailers are also welcome, with fees equivalent to those of the general campsites. Small dogs are permitted at the campground.
