Delightfully situated in the heart of the beautiful South Korean landscape, the Mysterious Solitude Camping Ground is a small scale campsite where the forest and valley coexist.

Location and Accessibility

Perched in Punggi-eup, Yeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, the Mysterious Solitude Camping Ground is just about 21 kilometers away from the Yeongju City Hall. A short 25-minute drive along Gyeongbuk Expressway, Jukryeong Road, and Samga Road will lead you to this enchanting getaway. This camping ground is not only a stopover for those heading to the Sobaksan Mountain but also a popular spot for those who enjoy valley water play at Geumsun Valley, one of Yeongju’s representative valleys.

Facilities and Operation

Seven sites have been set up for car camping, all floored with crushed stones. The site sizes and quantities are as follows: three sites of 11m x 4.5m, one site of 7m x 6.5m, and three sites of 8m x 5.5m. Personal trailers and caravans can enter the campsite. The camping ground operates on both weekdays and weekends, with a break from December to February of the following year.

  • Head towards the Heebangsa Station direction and you will find a variety of restaurants where you can enjoy gastronomic delights.
