“Clear World” Camping Ground
The Clear World Camping Ground is a general camping site located in Sangchon-myeon, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. Its name in Korean means “Clear World”, representing the pristine, untouched beauty of the site.
Introduction
This camping site is approximately 32 kilometers from the Yeongdong County Office. It takes around 50 minutes to reach the site by car via Nangye, Minjuji Mountain Road, and Mulhan Valley Road. The camping ground is situated in one of Yeongdong’s major tourist attractions, the Mulhan Valley. This location makes it an ideal spot for those who want to enjoy water activities in the clear valley water during summer, as well as camping.
The site is covered with naturally shaded trees, providing a refuge from the hot sun. The campground consists of 20 general camping sites, including 6 crushed stone surfaces and 14 wooden decks. The sizes of the sites are approximately 4m by 7m for the crushed stone and 2.6m by 3.6m for the decks. Personal trailers and caravans are allowed to enter, and small dogs are permitted in the camping area.
There are several attractions nearby, such as the Mulhan Valley and Minjuji Mountain, making it easy for visitors to combine their camping trip with other sightseeing activities. There are also various restaurants near the Mulhan Valley, where you can choose and enjoy your favorite dishes.
