Dumbari Camping Ground: An Enchanting Forest Escape
Located in Munbaek-myeon, Jincheon-gun, Chungbuk, Dumbari Camping Ground is a serene escape nestled in a refreshing forest. The name ‘Dumbari’, when translated to English, means ‘Mound Rock’, perfectly encapsulating the unique charm of this camping site.
Getting There
The campsite is about 16 kilometers from the Jincheon County office, a mere 20-minute drive. The journey to Dumbari Camping Ground takes you through the tranquil countryside, alternating between Baekgok-ro, Saenggeo Jincheon-ro, and Nongdari-ro.
Experience Dumbari
Upon arrival, campers are greeted by the lush greenery of the forest-set campsite. There are 40 general camping sites available, each measuring 6 meters wide and 7 meters long. The ground is entirely composed of crushed stone, providing a firm and level base for camping.
Some sites are surrounded by trees offering a more private space, while others are more open, giving campers a wide choice. Unfortunately, trailer and caravan admissions are not possible. However, small dogs are allowed to enter the campsite.

From Dumbari Camping Ground, access to Cheongju, Jeungpyeong, and Eumseong is easy, making it a convenient base for touring the area. Heading towards Jeungpyeong County office, there are various restaurants in business, allowing you to enjoy a variety of cuisines.
