Duckdong Valley Auto Camping Site
The Duckdong Valley Auto Camping Site, a pure and serene retreat nestled amidst valleys and forests, is situated in Baekwoon-myeon, Jecheon-si, Chungbuk. Located approximately 28 kilometers from Jecheon City Hall, this campsite can be accessed by driving north via Gukhak Mountain Road and Duckdong Road, a journey of about 35 minutes.
This camping site allows you to immerse yourself in a nature-friendly environment, thanks to the crystal-clear waters of the valley and the fresh, vibrant forest surrounding it. The campsite has 30 general camping areas spread across four zones. Each site measures 6 meters in width and 7 meters in length. Out of the 30 sites, 25 are gravel and 5 are deck-based. Each site offers individual bonfire stands, electricity, and wireless internet. Personal trailers and caravans are welcome, with an additional fee of 5,000 for the latter.
Although the campsite operates non-stop on weekdays and weekends, it is closed annually from December 1 to February 28. While there are many tourist spots nearby, including Parkdaljae Natural Recreation Forest and Baeryonsungji, the campsite itself is located in Duckdong Valley, eliminating the need to travel elsewhere. There are also numerous restaurants around the valley.
