Nodong Auto Camping Site
The Nodong Auto Camping Site is an idyllic space that has been transformed from an abandoned school into a scenic camping ground.
Location and Accessibility
Nestled in Danyang-eup, Danyang-gun, Chungbuk, the Nodong Auto Camping Site is just about 6km away from the Danyang County Office. A drive along Central 1 Road, Dari-an Road, and Danyang Nodong Road will get you there in approximately 15 minutes.
Site Features
The camping site has been remodeled from an old school and reborn as an aesthetic space with a beautiful view. There are 12 general campgrounds available, with nine of them having a grassy surface and three others featuring a deck. Unlike other camping sites, semi-circular shade covers have been installed on the sites, saving campers the trouble of having to set up tarps to shield themselves from the harsh sun. The site also allows the entry of personal trailers, caravans, and pets. Reservations can be made via phone call or online waiting lists, and the site operates on both weekdays and weekends throughout the year.
