Nae Won Automobile Camping Site

Nae Won Automobile Camping Site

Overview

The Nae Won Automobile Camping Site, located in front of the Nae Won Temple in Jirisan National Park, is a joyous place where forest and valley coexist. Established in 2007, it is a hybrid camping site that combines car camping and regular camping. The convenience of all facilities located within a 2-3 minutes’ walk and the cleanliness and orderliness add to its appeal.

Facilities and Atmosphere

Despite being a National Park campsite, Nae Won Automobile Camping Site has the ambiance of a forest resort. Its forest sites are equipped with wooden tables, eliminating the need for visitors to bring their own. You can listen to the sound of the valley water flowing next to the site and enjoy the waterfall view through the trees while sitting on the deck. There are 32 regular camping sites, 5 caravan sites, 11 small deck sites, and 5 medium deck sites. Also, there is a separate parking lot within the campsite.

For the convenience of forest site users, several rear cars are prepared. It is necessary to return these after unloading your luggage to facilitate the use by others. The waters used in the washing area come from the valley, so it must be boiled if you want to use it for drinking. The shower facilities are not free and require a fee of 1,000 won (cold water showers only).
