Namwon Baekdudaegan National Leisure Campsite: An Affordable Option with Diverse Benefits
About the Campsite
Namwon Baekdudaegan National Leisure Campsite, situated next to the Baekdudaegan Eco-Education Center exhibition hall, opened in the second half of 2017. This campsite offers wide spaces between each site, allowing for worry-free shade installation and parking. Each site is equipped with a table for the convenience of users. The sites are composed of grass or crushed stones and vary in size and location. In addition to the campsite, there’s also a pension (guesthouse) operating, with a park walkway leading from the pension – perfect for a pleasant stroll. Especially in the fall, you can spend the night under the colorful autumn leaves.
Managed directly by the Namwon City, the facility is clean and relatively cheaper than private campsites. Not only that, you can also advantage of free admission to the Namwon Baekdudaegan Eco-Education Center. The Eco-Education Center features life-like animal models, a permanent exhibition where you can see the ecological history culture of Baekdudaegan, a tiger rider hall, and 4D movie theater that children can enjoy. We highly recommend this place for families with young children.
