True pro campers’ haven, the National Network Peak Natural Forest Campsite.

Introduction

Located within the National Network Peak Natural Forest, the National Network Peak Natural Forest Campsite is a hidden gem that true professional campers seek. Despite the inconvenience of needing to bring all camping equipment to fully experience the mornings and nights in the forest, campers visit this site because of its stunning natural beauty. The campsite, situated between Shinro Peak and National Network Peak of Hanbuk Range, allows camping amid a forest of 600,000 to 700,000 pine trees, Korean red pines, and deciduous pines.

The site boasts beautiful views throughout the four seasons: blooming flowers in spring, refreshing valleys and waterfalls in summer, nearly 700,000 autumn leaves in the fall, and a snow-covered mountain and log house in winter that make you feel like you’re in a movie scene. Especially in November, you can see the leaves of the deciduous pines falling like snowflakes. Also, the reservoir of National Network Peak, which is a 10-minute walk from the campsite, was used as a filming location for the drama ‘My Love from the Star’, so it’s worth visiting if you were a fan of the show.
