Located in Sagok-myeon, Gongju-si in Chungcheongnam-do, Gongju Gye-Gok Camping Site is an enchanting place where the distance between the tent and the Magokcheon Stream is just five steps away. A 30-minute drive from the Gongju City Hall, through Geumgang Park Road, and racing along Magoksa Road will take you to this camping site.

Introduction

The site is nestled right in front of the Magokcheon stream, filled with water flowing from the thousand-year-old Magoksa Temple. This unique position allows campers to set up their tents right next to the water, enhancing the camping experience. The distance between the camping site and the stream is incredibly close, allowing campers to enjoy water activities easily.

The camping site is composed of 20 gravel sites of three different sizes: 6m x 10m, 5m x 8m, and 5m x 7m. It is divided into a pension site operated alongside the camping site and a site next to the Magokcheon stream. The camping site also allows the entrance of personal trailers and caravans.

There is a convenience store operating on the site, and a large supermarket is just a five-minute drive away. Being close to Magoksa Temple, it’s easy for visitors to combine tourism with their camping trip. Also, numerous restaurants around the camping site offer a variety of food options for campers.
