Introduction
The Gosan Mugunghwa Auto Camping Site is an accessible camping ground located at the entrance of Gosan Natural Recreation Forest. This camping area offers the flexibility of both auto camping and caravanning. Each site boasts a generous area of 7m×8m, and electricity is readily available. The site is conveniently accessible, just 2 hours and 30 minutes from Seoul, and within an hour from major cities such as Jeonju and Daejeon.
True to its name, the camping site is planted with a wealth of Rose of Sharon flowers, Korea’s national flower. If you visit during the blooming season in summer, you can enjoy the sight of these flowers in full bloom. There’s also a nearby valley for water-based activities, offering a cool retreat for the hot summer days. When autumn arrives, the entire mountain range is transformed into a spectacle of colorful foliage. Chestnut trees behind the camping site offer the delight of picking and boiling chestnuts.
