Location and Access

Persimmon Story Campground is located in Unmun-myeon, Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, approximately 44 kilometers from Cheongdo County Office. A 60-minute drive via Cheongmae-ro, Cheongnyeo-ro, and Unmun-ro will lead you to this natural haven. With easy access from the road and surrounded by mountains, it is nestled in Samgye-ri, where the Baeneomi, Gyesalpi, and Surideum valleys converge. The cool valley winds make camping enjoyable, and thanks to the planted trees around, summer camping under the shade is not a problem.

Campground Features

The campground offers 20 general campsites made of crushed stones, each measuring 6m by 7m. It accommodates personal trailers and caravans, and facilities such as a fireplace, electricity, and wireless internet are available for use. The campground operates in spring, summer, and fall, and is closed from November to March. Reservations can be made in real-time online.

Nearby Activities

For a more varied experience, campers can explore nearby attractions such as the Gasan Carbonated Sulfur Hot Springs and the National Unmun Mountain Natural Recreation Forest. Follow the Unmun-ro and find a variety of restaurants in the vicinity where you can enjoy your favorite dishes. Summer water activities and walking trails are also available for outdoor enthusiasts.
