Welcome to the Golden Valley Family Campground at Cheonggyesan, a small oasis tucked away in the bustling city of Pangyo, Seoul. Its name, Cheonggyesan, translates to ‘Blue Mountain’, capturing the serene and tranquil atmosphere of the camping site.
Location and Accessibility
The Golden Valley Campground is conveniently located near the Pangyo exit on the Gyeongbu Expressway and the Geumto exit on the Seoul-Yongin Expressway. On the map, it’s just beyond Mt. Seoul Grand Park, making it a short journey from Yangjae, Seoul. The campground is divided into glamping sites and regular camping sites, each offering unique experiences.
Layout and Facilities
With the parking lot as a reference point, the campground features the Maple Zone at the lower end, the Poplar Zone and Pine Zone on the upper side, and the management building and bathroom facility at the front. Inside the bathroom facility, there is the glamping site. Between the Pine Zone and the glamping site, there is the Zelkova Zone. Although the trees are not yet fully grown, resulting in lesser shade, the overall facility is clean and the sites are spaced out, allowing for a relaxed camping experience.
