The F1 Auto Camping Ground is located within South Korea’s first international motor racing stadium, the F1 Yeongam Car Racing Stadium. The camping ground is situated in a city forest area behind the grandstand where tent sites and caravans are set up. Compared to other camping sites, it is quite large, to the extent that you might need to drive around to explore the whole place. But that means you don’t have to worry about finding a spot, even during the peak season. The area is vast and each site has a spacious deck for your convenience. There are also picnic tables and benches available, so you don’t need to bring your own camping table and chairs.
Given its location within the car racing stadium, the caravan sites are named after F1 teams like ‘Ferrari’, adding an element of fun as you can choose according to your car preference. Family campers can also enjoy a go-kart race after making a reservation, and there’s even a 4-wheel ATV experience area that you can try out.
