Introduction
Located in Jido-jeongdo-ro, Jeongdo-myeon, Shinan, Taepyeong Salt Co. Thousand Days Salt Healing Camp is a unique camping site right next to a salt field experience site. The camp, which spans over an area of 3,000 pyeong, is equipped with 9 general campsites and 10 caravans. Particularly, as an eco-friendly caravan camping site, visitors can taste the true value of Thousand Days Salt.
This campsite is an ideal place for slow-paced relaxation, nestled within the busy daily life, and is located in Jeongdo Slow City. Looking out at the endless expanse of sea and mudflats, one can momentarily forget the worries and concerns of the world.
Jeongdo Taepyeong Salt Field is about twice the size of Yeouido, making it the largest single salt field in Korea. It is also designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and Asia’s first Slow City. It is a proud modern cultural heritage (No. 360) that has achieved a grand slam of ecology, including being designated as a Ramsar Wetland. Above all, it is a place where you can experience salt everywhere while camping. You can meet various colorful salt plants in the Salt Plant Garden and taste salt-related food in restaurants and supermarkets.
