White House Restaurant: Your Home for Authentic Korean Cuisine

Welcome to Hayan Jip (하얀집)

During my visit to Korea, I had a unique opportunity to dine at a restaurant run by farmers, known by the locals as “Hayan Jip” (하얀집, pronounced: Hayan Jib). Tucked away in the tranquil corner of Masanhappo-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, this enchanting place is a blend of tradition and modern-day food trends, all while promoting agricultural sustainability.

Experience Fresh Farm-To-Table Dining

Hayan Jip is headed by Hwang Ok-ja, a farmer, entrepreneur, and a passionate advocate for local produce. She’s actively involved in the Blueberry Cultivation Association, the Korean Agricultural Products Processing Research Association, and in numerous educational programs that range from food processing to marketing and distribution. Her dedication to her craft is evident in every dish served at her restaurant.

Blueberry Delights

One of the highlights at Hayan Jip is the fresh blueberries. Hwang Ok-ja grows these vibrant, sweet, and juicy fruits right at her farm. She brilliantly incorporates them into her dishes creating a harmonious fusion of trend and tradition that adds a sense of freshness and uniqueness to her menus. The result is a healthy, delicious meal that consumers can’t help but love.
